When day-to-day work life requires being in an office, it’s a welcome change when we get to leave the office and head out into the community. Corporate social responsibility is an important commitment for us and we feel grateful to be based in such a dynamic city. Even though it was raining, that did not stop our intrepid volunteers from heading to a Domus property for painting, construction, and gardening.
We love helping out Domus; we’ve been partnering with them for years. They are a human services nonprofit which opened in 1972 and serves more than 1,100 of the most struggling youth in Stamford. Specifically, we helped out at their group home for homeless males. We love their mission and what they do for our community.
One of our guiding principles is that we value people who care and that quality is always on display at this annual day of volunteering. We partner with another great group—Homefront—who arranges the day with volunteers and charities.
